The
Downtown Hickory Farmers Market
(DHFM) is a local "non profit" organization
selling products from local farmers and a
limited number of artisans. Eligible vendors
must produce what they sell and come from within
100 miles of Hickory. The DHFM
membership consists of a ratio of at least 75%
farmers and no more than 25% artisans.
New
vendor applications are accepted throughout the year.
However, applications must have been
submitted by May 1 to be considered for the 2008 early
market season. Applications
will be evaluated on a first come, first served
basis. A copy of the
DHFM Vendor Application Form can be

of this page or by requesting a copy from the Market
Manager (contact info listed below).

The location of the Market is in the east
parking lot of the Hickory Train Station. Market
hours of operation are 7 am to 1 pm on Saturdays
and from 12:00 pm until 5:30 pm on Wednesdays. The DHFM
season runs from May 3, through October 25,
2008.
On any given Saturday or Wednesday,
approximately 15-25 vendors may be present. This
number varies with the season.
The official DHFM rules are determined by the
Board of Directors and enforced by the Market
